Eye Examination
We pride ourselves in our knowledge and attention to detail. All our examinations are detailed, thorough and comprehensive. All the necessary tests are included in our sight test fee, with no hidden extras for additional tests or referrals if required. Our results will be explained to you clearly, and any management plan will be outlined with you in mind.
Eye Health
Routine eye tests are recommended every 2 years to monitor and maintain eye health. Certain patients, including but not limited to those with pre-existing ocular conditions, a family history of glaucoma, diabetics, or complex or frequently changing prescriptions, may be advised more frequent review at the discretion of the optometrist.

Our frames are simple yet sophisticated, quirky yet practical, stylish yet functional. We supply the best optical lenses on the market. Did you know a spectacle dispense requires at least 23 different measurements for accuracy?!
Contact Lenses
Contact lenses can be a great solution for most, and sometimes life’s just easier without glasses. We have extensive experience in fitting both standard and medical contact lenses. If you have been told that your eyes are unsuitable for contact lenses, do come and see us, as in our experience, there is hardly anyone out there that is truly unsuitable for lenses!
Complex Prescriptions
We’ll agree, higher and slightly more complex prescriptions require more attention and care when prescribing, but they are never a reason for an uncomfortable pair of glasses and they certainly shouldn’t restrict what you can and cannot do. We specialise in complex prescriptions, we’ll be able to advise on and recommend the best optical solution for you based on your visual and lifestyle needs.
Children
Testing children can be tough as they often aren’t able to comprehend what they are seeing. What makes it trickier, is that you can’t test children in the same way that you test adults. Regular eye examinations are essential to ensure normal visual development. We are happy to test children from infancy. For accurate results, children under the age of 5 will usually need 2 or more appointments (we don’t charge extra - we’ll simply do what your child needs).
